Winner of the 1984 Pulitzer Prize, David Mamet’s scalding comedy is about small-time, cutthroat real estate salesmen trying to grind out a living by pushing plots of land on reluctant buyers in a never-ending scramble for their fair share of the American dream. Here is Mamet at his very best, writing with brutal power about the tough life of tough characters who cajole, connive, wheedle, and wheel and deal for a piece of the action. It’s a world where closing a sale can mean a brand new Cadillac but losing one can mean losing it all.

A college class is taking a personality test where they will get paired with someone in the class and take them on a date. Shane believes this could match him up with the girl he is meant to be with. But what would a relationship be with some of the girls be like? And is the test one hundred percent reliable?

A playground altercation between eleven-year old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters.

Ere We Rot, coming OFFICIALLY this summer

I can now confirm that B Cast will officially be performing their new show
“Ere We Rot: A Play about People, Zombies, and the End of the World”
one night only, Friday July 30th, 7:30pm, at Liberty Middle School.

This summer, we will be putting on a theatrical experience like no other to see the lights of day in Centreville.

Ere We Rot: A Play About People, Zombies, and The End Of The World
When a zombie apocalypse strikes the world, mankind sturggles to survive and cope with each other in this darkly comedic exploration of death, religion, sex, politics, abuse, and all the other things that make people uncomfortable.

The show will be directed/written by Andrew Kaberline, stage managed by Marlo Clingman, with a special video by Michael Balderston

The cast will be comprised of:

the astounding Molly Dickerson
the magnificent Jennie Allen
the sensational Stephanie Ramsey
the remarkable Zaida Schebish

Tickets will be sold at the door, and there will be limited seating. The show will run between 40-50 minutes
